The recipient(s) will learn how to open up a hive to check on the bees, learn how to check our hive health chart and interpret what actions need to be taken given the latest hive check data collected before their arrival. We will teach them how to put on a bee suit and protective gloves properly so they're all ready to visit the bees.
 
We will demonstrate how to open a hive, assess the health of the bees and their progress building the colony and how to log this information for future reference - then it's their turn! The lucky recipients of this voucher will get the chance to open up a hive, undertake an inspection and log the information themselves - all with us on hand to help and answer any questions they may have.
 
Under 18? If you or someone you are booking for is under 18, they must be accompanied by an adult who also attending. Minimum age: 6.
